Always knowledgeable and professional. Whenever we had a question it was answered quickly. I can honestly say that our interests were held in the highest regards. Never felt pressured into anything and never felt like anything was being sold to us. They have the ability to find the best rates and products, and he had great advise when our priorities changed from a construction loan to a traditional 30-year mortgage. Not sure we would be able to do what we did without their quick response and ability to get things to us quickly. I would recommend their services to anyone and look forward to refinancing through them when the time is right.

Heidi-Jo was very thorough, organized and accessible. I can't remember a time when I called her and she didn't pick up the phone or get right back to me. She made the challenging process of refinancing feel very straight forward and seamless. I was kept up-to-date every step of the way. She is the ultimate communicator. I would highly recommend Brian Tankersley and Security First Mortgage. We started the home buying process in the summer and unfortunately we came across obstacles that caused documents to be redone over and over again. Brian was so patient with us – redoing everything each time. He was always available to answer questions, talk us through our next steps and at times gave us ideas of how we could overcome some of problems we faced – and there were many! At times I wanted to just give up and find an alternative but Brian made us feel like we had a personal cheerleader. He was so happy for us when things were going well and there to cheer us on as we worked through the issues and started checking things off the to-do list. I honestly don’t know if I could have gotten through those months without Brian’s help and knowledge. Thank you Brian for your patience, understanding and commitment to seeing this transaction through! It was truly a pleasure to work with you.

We used a different company when buying our first home and it was crazy. We had to always go to them, they didn't communicate well with each other and everything was a hurry up and do it NOW. They were pushy. Working with Heidi-Jo Kemp made life so easy. We sold our tiny home and bought a bigger one! Heidi was there the whole way. My favorite part was what I call her heads up emails. Given todays low rates, we decided to refinance and had originally engaged our existing mortgage company. While they provided a decent offer, we weren't really impressed by the closing costs or the percentage rate. We reached back out to Brian and without missing a beat he beat both the percentage rate and closing costs. The rest of the process was very streamlined, quick and easy. I would highly recommend Security First, especially after they knocked it out of the park 2 times in a row for us.
